Speak Up!

Everyone in the energy generation industry knows that there were major downtime and safety issues that came to a head in the mid to late 1990's. Since then, a dedicated mix of companies has focused much of their time and energy on defining a new industry (called FME) and overcoming those many challenges. Through the efforts of many companies, individuals and organizations – who have taken a more proactive and leadership stance - FME monitoring and preparedness is now in the foreground of today's energy generation priorities. With a more focused and intentional outreach, highlighted by open lines of communication, the FME programs of the future will continue to prove that we're all on track for a safer and smarter future. Ty-Flot will continue to lead the field in these efforts.

Objectives:

• Fewer people injured
• Increased FME awareness, compliance & progress
• More understanding balance between safety and efficiency
• Reduced plan down time

• Speaking and educational resources & media for the industries we serve
• Constant industry-driven research, development and innovation
• Actively incentivize and recognize "moments of progress"

Annual Speak Up for FME Awareness Awards

Recipients will be chosen based on:

1. Frequency that you speak up
2. Creativity and clarity in delivering the message
3. Impact on "moments of progress" created by speaking up

Speak up and challenge assumptions! Be sure someone who is ready and willing to create solutions captures your thoughts and ideas. Send an e-mail, make a call, or send smoke signals, but most importantly make your problems known and together we will create "moments of progress" like never before!
